The set of fourteen Stations of the
Cross were designed by Sister Dorina
of the Sisters of the Church in the
1920s and may have been produced as
embroidery and later as bas-relief.
One point of interest is the appearance
of the lamb. In St Gabriel's set,
the lamb appears with Jesus and Simon
of Cyrene. In other sets the lamb
comes in other of the stations.
Sister Dorina’s work may be found
in the following London churches:
S. Peter’s Acton Green
S. Silas Kentish Town
S. Barnabas, Pitshanger Lane, North
Ealing
St Andrew, Fulham Fields
St Andrew, Uxbridge
All Saints with St Columb, Notting
Hill
S. Peter, Vauxhall.
St Michael’s, Bedford Park has just
the 14th Station.
